The Papageno Foundation was established in 1997 by Aaltje and Jaap van Zweden to help children with autism. Another two foundations have since been established under the same board and the same management; each of these foundations has its own sphere of activity. The Papageno Foundation Art + Work focuses on music education programmes such as ‘Music Makers’ and ‘Meet’. The Papageno House Foundation focuses on the development of the Papageno House.
